Last updated: November 28, 2025
Our Commitment: 9Anime strictly respects the intellectual property rights of others and operates in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We are committed to promptly processing valid infringement claims.
As an indexing service, 9Anime does not host any content on its servers. We act as a service provider under the DMCA's safe harbor provisions. The following procedure is the only proper method for submitting copyright complaints regarding content indexed on our platform.
1. Copyright Infringement Notification (Takedown Notice)
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on their behalf, and you believe that content indexed on 9Anime infringes upon your copyright, please send a formal written notification to our Designated DMCA Agent. Your notice **must** substantially include the following elements:
- **Physical or Electronic Signature:** A signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- **Identification of the Copyrighted Work:** Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- **Identification of Infringing Material:** Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the exact URL on 9Anime).
- **Contact Information:** Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
- **Good Faith Statement:** A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- **Accuracy Statement:** A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you posted on 9Anime was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This notice **must** substantially include the following:
- **Physical or Electronic Signature:** Your physical or electronic signature.
- **Identification of Removed Material:** Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.

- **Consent to Jurisdiction:** Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which 9Anime may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

5. Important Legal Notes
